Statistical obsession

Jeg ville have flere læsere!

For at opdatere mere her på bloggen…

English:

I don’t know why, but it almost became like a sport for me. When I started to follow the stats of this blog, I found it very interesting to see when people click into this blog, and where they are from.. As time went I became more greedy.. I wanted more readers. Not because I want people to read my thoughts (or illnesses), but just because I like numbers.. Big numbers.. And so far the record of visitors in one day was last tuesday where the number was on.. Hoooold.. Let the drums begin first….. 162 visitors.. It’s pretty many for a this kind of blog. It’s not like I’m doing anything fabulous with this blog..

So I went to the next level that my inner “jantelov*” allowed me to. I installed something interesting as connect to twitter thingy, so it would automatically tweet for me when I made a new post… Lead to few more visitors.. Again I ignored my inner “jantelov” (explanation of jantelov is available in the buttom of the blog) and went another level up.. Installed something (honesty.. I’m not going into the technically specifications here, as well I assume it’s only me who think that kind is funny!) that connects blog with facebook so now when I post a new blog, it will post in facebook too, with a link!

But in same time, it learned me, by looking on the stats.. Once people had to check my website to see if there is any updates, but now I’m telling people that there are a new update on my blog through the social media. This means that people are waiting for a new wall post on their facebook or a new tweet telling that I updated my blog. I don’t know if it’s good or not so good.. But one thing I know, is that if I want that number to grow,  I sorta have to update my blog at least everyday! If I don’t, I can see it on the stats.. And it gives me an itch! To blog more.. So I hope this will be benefical for both you and me.

At last: Fuck jantelov..

*Jantelov (Jante law) is something a mean scandinavian invented to make sure that nobody thinks they are better than other. Very opposite from the american ideology.. Wanna read more about it? check this link out: HERE
